Survey of Inter generational relationships and leisure model in Province’s with different level of development

Abstract :
One of the important subjects in study of social changes in developing countries is the condition of intergenerational relationships. That is why Identify tools and fields which enforce such process can be provide better relationships between generation in a given society and result the continuation and preservation of culture and civilization. Changes in the pattern of leisure spending as a criterion of lifestyle are one of these platforms. It has the relationships with changes in intergenerational relationships. Due to informal and selective nature of leisure time, transformation of values takes place informally. It seems that development as an indicator of progress of a given society has the relation with the type of intergenerational relationships as well as leisure pattern. The main objective of this article is to find out the relationship between level of development of province and leisure time pattern and intergenerational relationships. Manheim and Inglehart theories on value changes were applied. Survey method with 1200 sample from three groups of developed (Tehran, Isfahan), developing (Kerman, Zangan) and deprived (Sistan and Baluchestan, Kohkiloyeh and Boyerahmad) provinces were randomly interviewed. Results shows collective active leisure pattern spending with family were the main and first pattern of collective leisure among respondents. With increase in province level of development, collective active leisure pattern with family reduced and new leisure pattern i.e. virtual vacation increased. Intergenerational relationships have the relation with level of development and in deprived provinces such relation are stronger
