Abstract :
The current research was aimed at Structural Equation Modeling of the Relationship Between Integrative self-knowledge and Alexithymia with Psychopathologies with the Mediating Role of Mindfulness and Psychological Flexibility. The research design was a correlational design and the research's statistical population included Tehran universities' virtual learning students and the final sample size was determined to be 342 individuals using convenience sampling and considering sample size formula suggested by Kline (2005). The instruments used for data collection included Ghorbani et al.'s Integrative Self-Knowledge Scale (2008), Bond, et al.`s Acceptance and Action Questionnaire (2011), Brown & Ryan's Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (2003), the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (1994), and the Symptom Checklist (1972) of Derogatis, L.et al. Path analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings of correlation analysis showed psychopathologies to be negatively correlated with mindfulness, psychological flexibility, and integrative self-knowledge and positively correlated with alexithymia. According to the results, all correlations were found to be significant at the level of (0.01). Furthermore, according to path analysis results, the intermediary role of mindfulness and psychological flexibility was found to be significant in the relationship between alexithymia and integrative self-knowledge with psychopathologies. It can conclude that the mindfulness and psychological flexibility as two critical mediators have a pivotal role in psychopathologies prediction and also, they increase the effect of integrative self-knowledge in psychopathologies reduction
