Abstract :

Climate change has profound and widespread effects on Earth's ecosystems and biodiversity. Increasing temperatures, changing precipitation patterns, and the occurrence of extreme weather events directly and indirectly impact various habitats and species. These changes can lead to species displacement, alterations in the timing of biological activities, and a reduction in genetic diversity. Many species are unable to adapt to new conditions due to temperature shifts and are consequently at risk of extinction. Furthermore, climate change can affect food chains and ecological interactions, which in turn can lead to changes in the structure and functioning of ecosystems. As a result, the decline in populations of some species may have cascading effects on other species and ecosystems. This research examines the various impacts of climate change on ecosystems and biodiversity, and also analyzes strategies to mitigate these effects and protect biodiversity against climate challenges. Ultimately, the findings of this research can contribute to a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the sustainable management of natural resources and biodiversity conservation, assisting policymakers and researchers in making informed decisions.

چكيده

تغییرات اقلیم به عنوان یکی از بزرگ‌ترین چالش‌های محیط زیستی قرن حاضر، تأثیرات عمیق و گسترده‌ای بر اکوسیستم‌ها و تنوع زیستی زمین دارد. افزایش دما، تغییر الگوهای بارش و وقوع رویدادهای شدید آب و هوایی، به طور مستقیم و غیرمستقیم بر زیستگاه‌ها و گونه‌های مختلف تأثیر می‌گذارد. این تغییرات می‌توانند منجر به جابجایی گونه‌ها، تغییر در زمان‌بندی فعالیت‌های زیستی و کاهش تنوع ژنتیکی شوند. بسیاری از گونه‌ها به دلیل تغییرات دمایی قادر به سازگاری با شرایط جدید نیستند و در نتیجه در معرض خطر انقراض قرار می‌گیرند. علاوه بر این، تغییرات اقلیم می‌تواند بر زنجیره‌های غذایی و تعاملات اکولوژیکی تأثیر بگذارد، که این امر به نوبه خود می‌تواند به تغییر در ساختار و عملکرد اکوسیستم‌ها منجر شود. به¬طوری که، کاهش جمعیت برخی از گونه‌ها ممکن است تأثیرات زنجیره‌ای بر دیگر گونه‌ها و اکوسیستم‌ها داشته باشد. این تحقیق به بررسی تأثیرات مختلف تغییرات اقلیم بر اکوسیستم‌ها و تنوع زیستی می‌پردازد و همچنین به تحلیل راهکارهایی برای کاهش این تأثیرات و حفاظت از تنوع زیستی در برابر چالش‌های اقلیمی می‌پردازد. در نهایت، نتایج این تحقیق می‌تواند به درک بهتر چالش‌ها و فرصت‌های موجود در مدیریت پایدار منابع طبیعی و حفظ تنوع زیستی کمک کند و به سیاست‌گذاران و محققان در اتخاذ تصمیمات آگاهانه یاری رساند.

مقدمه

تغییرات اقلیمی، به‌عنوان یکی از بزرگ‌ترین چالش‌های محیط زیستی قرن بیست‌ویکم، تأثیرات عمیق و گسترده‌ای بر اکوسیستم‌ها و تنوع زیستی کره زمین دارد (IPCC, 2022). آب و هوا به طور بنیادی، توزیع اکوسیستم‌ها، محدوده پراکنش گونه‌ها و نرخ فرآیندهای زیستی را در سطح زمین کنترل می‌کند (Grimm et al., 2013). سازمان جهانی هواشناسی، آب و هوا را به عنوان میانگین شرایط جوی تعریف می‌کند که با آمار بلندمدت عناصر هواشناسی در یک منطقه مشخص می‌شود (WMO, 2006). در حالی که تغییر اقلیم¹ (CC) به عنوان، تغییر اقلیم یک منطقه در نتیجه اختلالات انسانی و طبیعی مانند تخریب لایه اوزون و اثرات گلخانهای توصیف میشود (Kotir et al., 2011). سه متغیر اصلی تغییر اقلیم شامل افزایش غلظت دی‌اکسید کربن (CO2)، تغییر الگوهای بارش، و نوسانات دمایی هستند. این عوامل، پدیده‌هایی نظیر افزایش سطح آب دریاها، خشکسالی، امواج گرما، آتش‌سوزی‌های گسترده، طوفان‌ها، و سیلاب‌ها را تشدید می‌کنند (Sánchez-Arcilla et al., 2011). به عنوان مثال، افزایش میانگین دمای جهانی به میزان 1.1 درجه سانتی‌گراد نسبت به دوره پیش‌صنعتی، همراه با افزایش غلظت دی‌اکسید کربن (CO₂) از 280 به بیش از ppm420، بر چرخه‌های زیستی و تولید اولیه اکوسیستم‌های خشکی و دریایی تأثیر گذاشته است (WMO, 2024). علاوه بر این؛ تغییرات دما، سیل و افزایش سطح آب دریاها باعث تغییر اکوسیستم میشود. به همین ترتیب، تغییرات در بارندگی و دما نرخ انقراض گونهها را افزایش میدهد (Reid & Swiderska, 2008). این تغییرات نه‌تنها منجر به کاهش بهره‌وری کشاورزی و امنیت غذایی می‌شود، بلکه با تشدید پدیده‌هایی مانند بیابان‌زایی و اسیدی شدن اقیانوس‌ها، خدمات اکوسیستمی حیاتی مانند گرده‌افشانی و چرخه مواد مغذی را مختل می‌کند (Penuelas et al., 2020). پیش‌بینی می‌شود که تنوع زیستی، تولید کشاورزی و امنیت غذایی در واکنش به تغییر آب و هوای آینده در سطح جهانی به‌طور آشکار تغییر کند (Morton, 2007; Wiebe et al., 2019; Abbasi et al., 2022). براین اساس، حرکت گیاهان به ارتفاعات و عرضهای جغرافیایی بالاتر از اقلیمی که با آن سازگار شدهاند، از جمله پیامدهای پیش‌بینی شده تغییر اقلیم است (Davis & Shaw, 2001). اکنون شواهد قابل توجهی وجود دارد که چنین تغییراتی در توزیع گیاهان در حال رخ دادن است (Walther, 2003)، تا قلمرو جدیدی را اشغال کنند (Van Der, 2012). یک گونه ممکن است از طریق طرد رقابتی جایگزین شود، که به احتمال زیاد تحت تأثیر در دسترس بودن آب و دمای بالاتر است (Kang et al., 2009; Mirzaei Heidari & Mishkhaszadeh, 2023). با افزایش دما، انتظار داریم که برخی از گونه‌ها توزیع خود را به سمت شرایط مناسب‌تر تغییر دهند. با این حال، آب و هوای گرم‌تر و خشک‌تر ممکن است اثرات موضعی بر گیاهان و جانوران داشته باشد و پیش از مشاهده تغییرات قابل‌توجه در توزیع، تعاملات آنها را مختل کند (Fonturbel et al., 2021; Mirzaei heydari, 2021). تغییرات اقلیمی به‌طور قابل توجهی پتانسیل کاهش جمعیت گونه‌هایی را دارد که توانایی سازگاری با شرایط آب و هوایی در حال تغییر را ندارند و این امر خطر انقراض را افزایش می‌دهد (Davis, 2001). این پدیده نه تنها به‌طور مستقیم بر گونه‌ها، ترکیب و عملکرد اکوسیستم‌ها از طریق افزایش دما، تغییرات الگوهای بارندگی، دمای آب و سطح دریا تأثیر می‌گذارد، بلکه به طور غیرمستقیم نیز از طریق تغییر در شدت و فراوانی رویدادهایی مانند آتش‌سوزی‌های جنگلی عمل می‌کند (Mooney et al., 2009). علاوه بر این، گونه‌ها از خود سازگاری‌هایی در مورفولوژی، فیزیولوژی و رفتار در پاسخ به تغییرات متغیرهای آب و هوایی نشان داده‌اند (Lavergne et al., 2010). تغییرات اقلیمی همچنین بر فراوانی شیوع آفات و بیماری‌ها در اکوسیستم‌های جنگلی تأثیر گذاشته است (Anderson et al., 2004). در نتیجه، رویدادهای شدید آب و هوایی و تغییرات آن‌ها، از جمله سیل، تگرگ، دماهای یخبندان، طوفان‌های گرمسیری و خشکسالی، به همراه پیامدهای ثانویه آن‌ها مانند رانش زمین و آتش‌سوزی، تأثیرات عمیقی بر اکوسیستم‌ها داشته‌اند (Muluneh, 2021).

با این وجود، تأثیرات تغییر اقلیم بر امنیت غذایی در مکان‌هایی که کشاورزی بارانی هنوز منبع اصلی غذا و درآمد است، با بیشترین نگرانی مواجه هستند (Fonta et al., 2011). تغییر اقلیم همچنین میتواند بر قیمتهای بازار جهانی مواد غذایی تأثیر بگذارد (Muluneh, 2021). بنابراین، پیوندهای بین تغییر اقلیم و امنیت غذایی در رابطه با تأثیرات بر بهره‌وری محصول و تولید غذا مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است (Kang et al., 2009; Fuhrer & Booker, 2003). به عنوان مثال، افزایش دما به اندازه کافی مضر در نظر گرفته شد که تا حد زیادی هر گونه افزایش در عملکرد و رشد را در نتیجه افزایش غلظت دی اکسید کربن (CO2) اتمسفر جبران کند (Amthor, 2007; Mirzaei heydari et al., 2024). بنابراین، بدیهی است که تغییر اقلیم به شدت بر اهداف توسعه پایدار تأثیر میگذارد (Banik, 2019). در این راستا، بخش کشاورزی باید عملکرد پایداری خود و سازگاری با اثرات تغییرات آب و هوا را به گونه‌ای بهبود بخشد که تلاش‌های جهانی برای تضمین امنیت غذایی را به خطر نیندازد (Filho et al., 2018; Chhogyel & Kumar, 2018).

بنابراین، با توجه به شدت و گستردگی پیامدهای تغییرات اقلیمی بر ساختار و عملکرد اکوسیستم‌ها و نیز تهدید فزاینده آن بر تنوع زیستی در سطوح ژنتیکی، گونه‌ای و اکوسیستمی، بررسی علمی و جامع این اثرات امری ضروری به نظر می‌رسد. هدف این پژوهش، تحلیل دقیق پیامدهای تغییر اقلیم بر زیست‌بوم‌ها و تنوع زیستی از جنبه‌های مختلف اکولوژیکی، ژنتیکی، عملکردی و امنیت غذایی است. این مقاله تلاش کرده است ضمن مرور ادبیات مرتبط، سازوکارهای مؤثر در پاسخ‌گونه‌ها و اکوسیستم‌ها به تغییرات اقلیمی را شناسایی نموده، نقش گازهای گلخانه‌ای، افزایش دما، تغییر در الگوهای بارش و دیگر عوامل مرتبط را بررسی کند. همچنین، راهبردها و اقدامات سازگارانه و کاهشی در راستای حفاظت از تنوع زیستی و پایداری اکوسیستم‌ها نیز مورد تحلیل قرار خواهد گرفت. یافته‌های این پژوهش می‌تواند مبنایی برای تصمیم‌گیری‌های ‌محیط زیستی، برنامه‌ریزی منابع طبیعی و سیاست‌گذاری‌های اقلیمی در مقیاس ملی و جهانی فراهم آورد.

مواد و روش‌ها

مطالعه حاضر از نوع پژوهش‌های مروری-تحلیلی است که با هدف شناسایی و تحلیل جامع پیامدهای تغییر اقلیم بر اکوسیستم‌ها، تنوع‌زیستی و امنیت ‌محیط زیستی انجام شده است. این مطالعه به دنبال پاسخگویی به سؤالات کلیدی نظیر "چگونه تغییر اقلیم بر ساختار و عملکرد اکوسیستم‌ها و رفتار گونه‌ها تأثیر می‌گذارد؟ " و "راهکارهای سازگاری بیولوژیکی و مدیریتی برای کاهش آسیب‌های اقلیمی کدام‌اند؟" بود. روش تحقیق بر پایه تحلیل اسنادی و محتوای کیفی منابع علمی معتبر و گزارش‌های رسمی سازمان‌های بین‌المللی و ملی استوار است.

برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها، جستجوی نظام‌مند در پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی معتبر بین‌المللی و داخلی شامل ScienceDirect, Scopus, Springer, Web of Science, Google Scholar, SID, and MagIran در بازه زمانی 2000 تا 2024 صورت گرفت. منابع انتخاب شده بر اساس معیارهای اعتبار علمی (شامل مقالات داوری‌شده از ژورنال‌های معتبر، گزارش‌های رسمی سازمان‌هایی نظیر IPCC, FAO, UNEP)، تمرکز بر پیامدهای اقلیمی بر اکوسیستم‌ها، گونه‌ها، منابع طبیعی و امنیت غذایی، و ماهیت تحلیلی یا تجربی-کاربردی مورد گزینش قرار گرفتند.

تحلیل منابع گردآوری‌شده بر اساس الگوی تحلیل موضوع‌محور و استنتاجی، در چند محور اصلی صورت پذیرفت. این محورها شامل: الف) بررسی عناصر مستقیم و غیرمستقیم تغییر اقلیم بر ساختار و عملکرد اکوسیستم‌ها؛

ب) تحلیل تغییر در رفتار و پراکنش گونه‌ها و پیامدهای آن بر تنوع زیستی؛

ج) ارزیابی تأثیر افزایش گازهای گلخانه‌ای، دما، خشکسالی، سیلاب‌ها و گرمایش جهانی؛

د) واکاوی پیامدهای تغییر اقلیم بر امنیت غذایی و بهره‌وری منابع زیستی؛

هـ) تحلیل سازوکارهای انطباق زیستی، ژنتیکی و فنوتیپی گونه‌ها؛

و) ارزیابی راهکارهای مدیریتی و سیاستی کاهش آسیب‌های اقلیمی در نتایج بوم‌شناختی و انسانی بودند.

برای بررسی داده‌ها، از روش تحلیل مقایسه‌ای استنباطی استفاده شد. هدف نهایی این تحلیل، ارائه چارچوب نظری و سیاست‌گذاری جهت مدیریت پایدار منابع طبیعی و محیط‌زیست در مواجهه با چالش‌های تغییر اقلیم بود.

نتایج

تاثیر تغییر اقلیم بر تنوع زیستی

تغییر اقلیم به عنوان یک تهدید جهانی فزاینده، پیامدهای گسترده‌ای بر تنوع زیستی و اکوسیستم‌ها اعمال می‌کند .(Díaz et al., 2019) این تأثیرات شامل تغییر در ترکیب گونه‌ها و الگوهای تعاملی، دگرگونی در دسترس‌پذیری منابع، گسترش عوامل بیماری‌زا به زیستگاه‌های جدید، تغییر ویژگی‌های مناطق حفاظت‌شده و کاهش انعطاف‌پذیری اکوسیستم‌ها می‌گردد (Eldredge, 2002). علاوه بر این، تغییر اقلیم با تغییر در رژیم‌های بارشی، دما و الگوهای سیلاب، فشار مضاعفی بر زیستگاه‌ها و گونه‌ها وارد می‌سازد. این پدیده مستقیماً بر رشد و رفتار ارگانیسم‌ها، اندازه جمعیت و ساختار سنی آن‌ها تأثیر می‌گذارد و همچنین فرایندهای بوم‌شناختی نظیر تجزیه، چرخه‌های مواد مغذی، جریان آب، ترکیب گونه‌ها و تعاملات اکولوژیکی را دگرگون می‌سازد .(Trew & Maclean, 2021) به طور غیرمستقیم نیز، تغییر اقلیم می‌تواند از طریق تغییر در جریان‌های آب، شوری، خشکی و افزایش فراوانی رویدادهای شدید آب و هوایی مانند سیل، طوفان‌های استوایی، تگرگ و اسیدی شدن اقیانوس‌ها، گونه‌ها و اکوسیستم‌ها را تحت تأثیر قرار دهد (Brierley & Kingford, 2009). پیش‌بینی‌ها حاکی از آن است که در صورت ادامه روندهای فعلی، بین 17 تا 35 درصد از گونه‌های کره زمین ممکن است طی یک قرن آینده منقرض شوند(Muluneh, 2021) . تنوع زیستی در اراضی خشک، که به عنوان یک سرمایه بیولوژیکی حیاتی تلقی می‌شود، به شدت تحت تأثیر تغییر اقلیم قرار گرفته است. پویایی رشد جوامع گیاهی نظیر بوته‌ها و پوشش گیاهی علفزاری، وابستگی تنگاتنگی به زمان‌بندی، شدت و مدت بارندگی دارد. گونه‌های گیاهی این مناطق، که اغلب دارای سیستم ریشه‌ای سطحی و متراکم هستند، برای جذب رطوبت لازم، به آب موجود در لایه‌های فوقانی خاک متکی‌اند. کاهش میزان بارندگی، به‌ویژه در فصول خشک، توانایی انعطاف‌پذیری و تاب‌آوری این گیاهان را در مواجهه با تنش‌های محیطی تضعیف می‌کند (Vanacker et al., 2005). این فرسایش پوشش گیاهی، ظرفیت جذب کربن در زمین‌های خشک را کاهش داده و منجر به افزایش انتشار دی‌اکسید کربن (CO2) به جو می‌شود. علاوه بر این، از بین رفتن پوشش گیاهی در این اراضی، میزان گرد و غبار معلق در اتمسفر را نیز افزایش می‌دهد. به طور کلی، تغییر اقلیم با تأثیر بر گستره پراکنش گونه‌ها، منابع آب، گرمای شدید، و وضعیت رطوبت و دمای خاک، تنوع زیستی اراضی خشک را متأثر می‌سازد (Bonkoungou, 2001). افزایش دما، به عنوان مثال تا 38 درجه سانتی‌گراد، نرخ تبخیر و تعرق را به دلیل شرایط گرم‌تر افزایش داده و به خشکی خاک منجر می‌شود که در نتیجه بهره‌وری گیاهان را در این مناطق کاهش می‌دهد (Muluneh, 2021). چنانچه عوامل اقلیمی مانند تغییر دما و بارندگی در یک منطقه از آستانه تحمل یک گونه فراتر روند، تغییر در الگوی پراکنش آن گونه اجتناب‌ناپذیر خواهد بود (Samway et al., 1999). علاوه بر این، دگرگونی در محدوده زیستی گیاهان، نه تنها بر پراکنش گونه‌ها اثر می‌گذارد، بلکه می‌تواند مانع از توانایی بسیاری از گونه‌ها برای پیگیری آب و هوای سازگار با آن‌ها شود (Muluneh, 2021).

مهاجرت و انتقال ژن ناشی از تغییرات آب و هوایی

در پاسخ به تغییر اقلیم، سریع‌ترین سازگاری‌ها در جمعیت‌ها اغلب به صورت فنوتیپی رخ می‌دهند (Merilä & Hendry, 2014). با این حال، در نسل‌های متعاقب، انتخاب طبیعی نقش محوری در جهت‌دهی به سازگاری‌های پایدارتر ایفا می‌کند، به شرط آن که تنوع ژنتیکی کافی برای صفات منتخب در جمعیت وجود داشته باشد (Bradshaw & Mcneilly, 1991). این در حالی است که مهاجرت گونه‌های گیاهی به عنوان پاسخی به گرمایش سریع اقلیم، معمولاً کندتر از تغییرات ژنتیکی و فنوتیپی تطبیقی صورت می‌گیرد، که عمدتاً به دلیل عدم قطعیت در فرایند استقرار جمعیت‌های جدید است (Aitken et al., 2008). با وجود این، گونه‌هایی که ظرفیت مهاجرت سریع‌تر را دارند، شانس بقای بالاتری در مواجهه با تغییرات محیطی از خود نشان می‌دهند (Menéndez et al., 2006).

با این حال، لازم به ذکر است که انعطاف‌پذیری فنوتیپی، به عنوان یکی از مکانیسم‌های پاسخ گونه‌ها به تغییرات محیطی، دارای محدودیت‌های خاص خود است (Nicotra et al., 2010). بنابراین، می‌توان نتیجه گرفت که تغییرات اقلیمی تأثیرات قابل توجهی بر هر دو مهاجرت گونه‌ها و انتقال ژن می‌گذارد و ضرورت درک عمیق‌تر ظرفیت‌های سازگاری و انعطاف‌پذیری گونه‌ها در برابر این تحولات محیطی را برجسته می‌سازد.

تاثیر تغییر اقلیم بر امنیت غذایی

امنیت غذایی، که به معنای دسترسی پایدار همه افراد به غذای کافی برای یک زندگی فعال و سالم است (Pinstrup-Andersen, 2009)، به شدت به تنوع زیستی به عنوان منبع اصلی مواد غذایی وابسته است (Thaman, 2005). پیامدهای منفی تغییر اقلیم بر تنوع زیستی، از جمله انقراض گونه‌ها، به طور مستقیم امنیت غذایی جهانی را از طریق ایجاد عدم تعادل در اکوسیستم‌های طبیعی تهدید می‌کند (Sathaye et al., 2001). این تهدید شامل اختلال در خدمات حیاتی اکوسیستم نظیر گرده‌افشانی و کنترل آفات طبیعی است که به دلیل افزایش رویدادهای شدید آب و هوایی مانند طوفان‌ها، خشکسالی‌ها و امواج گرما تشدید می‌شود (Agbogidi, 2011). تغییرات در میانگین دما و بارندگی، ضمن تأثیر بر مناسب بودن اراضی برای کشت محصولات و دامپروری، دسترسی به آب کشاورزی و بهره‌وری منابع دریایی را نیز کاهش داده، و موجب افزایش شیوع آفات و بیماری‌ها، فرسایش خاک، و بیابان‌زایی می‌گردد (IPCC, 2002; Hosseini et al., 2023; Webb et al., 2018).

بر اساس پیش‌بینی‌ها، تغییر اقلیم تا سال 2060 به کاهش 1 تا 7 درصدی تولید غلات جهانی منجر شده و تا سال 2050 حدود 22 درصد از اراضی زیر کشت محصولات اصلی جهان را تحت تأثیر نامطلوب قرار خواهد داد (Parry, 2007; Campbell et al., 2011). این شرایط می‌تواند تا سال 2080، 5 تا 170 میلیون نفر دیگر را در معرض خطر گرسنگی قرار دهد (Schmidhuber & Tubiello, 2016). به طور خاص، در مناطق وابسته به کشاورزی دیم مانند آفریقا، بازده کشاورزی ممکن است تا سال 2050 بیش از 30 درصد کاهش یابد (Juma & Kelonye, 2016)، که این امر آسیب‌پذیری امنیت غذایی را در برابر تغییرات اقلیمی نظیر کوتاه شدن فصل رشد افزایش می‌دهد (Meybeck et al., 2018; Tm et al., 2015). بنابراین، تغییر اقلیم از طریق الگوهای بارندگی نامنظم، افزایش دما، کاهش عملکرد محصول و به خطر افتادن آستانه‌های رشد گیاهان، به طور جدی امنیت غذایی را تهدید کرده و نیاز به اتخاذ تدابیر مؤثر برای مقابله با این چالش‌ها و حفظ پایداری سیستم‌های غذایی را ضروری می‌سازد (Wiebe et al., 2019; Kang et al., 2009).

تاثیر گازهای گلخانهای بر اکولوژی

بر اساس مطالعات موجود، تغییرات در غلظت گازهای گلخانه‌ای همواره بخشی از فرآیندهای طبیعی زمین‌شناسی بوده و منجر به چرخه‌های طولانی‌مدت یخبندان و بینایخبندان در تاریخ سیاره شده است (Cowie et al., 2011). با این حال، در چند قرن اخیر، میانگین اقلیم و ویژگی‌های جوی زمین با سرعت بی‌سابقه‌ای دستخوش تغییر شده است. این دگرگونی عمدتاً ناشی از پیشرفت‌های تکنولوژیکی و رشد سریع جمعیت انسانی است که پیامدهایی نظیر جنگل‌زدایی، فرسایش خاک، بیابان‌زایی، گسترش شهرنشینی، صنعتی شدن و آلودگی‌های گسترده را به همراه داشته است (Muluneh, 2021). در نتیجه، از سال 1850 میلادی، میانگین دمای جهانی به دلیل تجمع گازهای گلخانه‌ای حاصل از احتراق سوخت‌های فسیلی و توسعه کشاورزی فشرده در جو افزایش چشمگیری یافته است (Shindell & Smith, 2019).

افزایش غلظت دی‌اکسید کربن (CO2) به عنوان عامل اصلی تقویت‌کننده اثر گلخانه‌ای شناخته می‌شود؛ برآوردها نشان می‌دهند که سطح CO2 با نرخ سالانه 1 تا 2 درصد در حال افزایش است که می‌تواند در قرن آینده دو برابر شود (Sattar et al., 2021). تغییرات اقلیمی به طور مستقیم و غیرمستقیم بر حیات وحش تأثیر می‌گذارد؛ در حالی که پیش‌بینی اثرات مستقیم نسبتاً ساده‌تر است، اما تأثیرات غیرمستقیم در مقیاس‌های زمانی طولانی‌مدت در هر منطقه رخ می‌دهند. اثر گلخانه‌ای با افزایش دمای کلی زمین، پدیده گرمایش جهانی را رقم می‌زند که مستقیماً بر منابع غذایی حیوانات و زیستگاه آن‌ها اثر می‌گذارد (Glick et al., 2002). این گرمایش جهانی مسئول تغییر در فنولوژی (زمان‌بندی رخدادهای بیولوژیکی)، ذوب شدن یخ‌های دائمی، افزایش سطح آب دریاها و کوچک شدن یخچال‌های طبیعی است (Bennett, 2012). تحقیقات نشان داده است که هم‌زمان با افزایش گازهای گلخانه‌ای، دمای زمین نیز به طور متناسب افزایش می‌یابد (Meinshausen et al., 2009). این افزایش دما نه تنها الگوی بارش را تغییر می‌دهد، بلکه موجب جابه‌جایی گونه‌های جانوری به سمت زیستگاه‌های مناسب‌تر نیز می‌شود (Thornes, 2002). بنابراین، تغییرات در غلظت گازهای گلخانه‌ای که هم از فرآیندهای طبیعی و هم از فعالیت‌های انسانی نشأت می‌گیرد، تأثیرات عمیقی بر اکوسیستم‌ها و حیات وحش دارد. افزایش مستمر سطح CO2 و دما، علاوه بر گرمایش جهانی و تغییر الگوهای بارندگی، به جابجایی گونه‌ها منجر شده و تهدیدی جدی برای تنوع زیستی و امنیت غذایی جهانی محسوب می‌شود. این وضعیت، ضرورت فوری اتخاذ تدابیر مؤثر برای کاهش و سازگاری با اثرات منفی تغییرات اقلیمی را بیش از پیش نمایان می‌سازد.

تاثیر تغییر اقلیم بر گرم شدن زمستان

گرمایش جهانی در فصل زمستان بارزتر بوده و باعث ایجاد آبشاری از پیامدهای پیش بینی نشده میشود (Grimm et al., 2013). از بارزترین تأثیرات مستقیم این پدیده، کوتاه شدن فصل برف و کاهش توده برفی است که منجر به در معرض قرار گرفتن خاک‌ها در برابر رویدادهای یخبندان مکرر و تغییر فصلی بودن رواناب به سمت رودخانه‌ها و مخازن می‌شود. در عرض‌های جغرافیایی بالا، کاهش وسعت و مدت زمان پوشش برف و یخ، موجب افزایش جذب انرژی توسط اکوسیستم‌ها شده و در نتیجه، روند گرمایش زمستان را تشدید می‌کند (Euskirchen et al., 2007). پوشش برف به عنوان یک عایق حرارتی حیاتی برای خاک عمل می‌کند. در نتیجه، کمبود برف می‌تواند به پدیده‌ای تا حدی غیرمنتظره منجر شود؛ به طوری که در یک جهان رو به گرمایش، خاک‌ها سردتر و یخ‌زده‌تر باقی بمانند (Grimm et al., 2013). این وضعیت به نوبه خود، افزایش شستشوی نیتروژن، فسفر، و کاتیون‌های بازی را در پی دارد و موجب افزایش شار اکسید نیتروژن (N2O) می‌شود (Brooks et al., 2011). این یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهند که تغییرات اقلیمی زمستانی به افزایش انتقال مواد مغذی به آب‌های سطحی و اقیانوس‌ها منجر شده و پیامدهای منفی بر کیفیت آب دارد (Grimm et al., 2013). ترکیب افزایش دمای هوا در زمستان، افزایش باران زمستانی و ذوب زودتر برف ممکن است به افزایش رواناب در طول زمستان بینجامد. در نتیجه، پیش‌بینی می‌شود سطح ذخیره آب در مخازن، و همچنین دفعات پر شدن و سرریز شدن مخازن در طول زمستان افزایش یابد و این مخازن نیز زودتر در بهار پر شوند (Matonse et al., 2011). تحقیقات اخیر در اکوسیستم‌های کشاورزی نیز حاکی از آن است که تغییرات اقلیمی زمستانی می‌تواند به کاهش سطح کربن (C) خاک و ترسیب کربن در اکوسیستم منجر شود (Senthilkumar et al., 2009). بنابراین، گرم شدن هوا در فصل زمستان با کاهش فصل برف و افزایش رواناب، پیامدهای ناخواسته‌ای را به همراه دارد که به‌شدت بر اکوسیستم‌ها و کیفیت آب تأثیر می‌گذارد. این تغییرات نه‌تنها باعث افزایش انتقال مواد مغذی به آب‌های دریایی می‌شود، بلکه بر ذخیره‌سازی کربن در خاک‌ها نیز اثر منفی دارد. از این رو، درک این تحولات و پیامدهای آن‌ها برای مدیریت پایدار منابع آب و حفظ اکوسیستم‌ها در برابر تغییرات اقلیمی، ضروری است.

تاثیر تغییرات اقلیم بر افزایش سطح و کیفیت آب دریا و اقیانوسها

افزایش دمای جهانی در طول یک قرن گذشته، منجر به بالا آمدن سطح آب دریاها به میزان 10 تا 25 سانتی‌متر شده و این روند افزایشی در آینده ادامه خواهد یافت. این پدیده عمدتاً ناشی از انبساط حرارتی آب دریا در واکنش به افزایش دمای اتمسفر و ذوب یخچال‌های طبیعی و صفحات یخی است که حجم آب اقیانوس‌ها را می‌افزاید (Sattar et al., 2021; Dursun et al., 2015). پیامدهای این افزایش سطح، شامل تخریب گسترده زیستگاه‌های ساحلی از طریق فرسایش، طغیان تالاب‌ها، نابودی اراضی کشاورزی، آلودگی به شوری، و از بین رفتن زیستگاه‌های حیاتی برای ماهیان، پرندگان و گیاهان است. بالا آمدن سطح آب دریا مانع از مهاجرت زیستگاه‌های ساحلی به سمت خشکی به دلیل وجود موانع طبیعی یا انسانی می‌شود که به از دست رفتن اکوسیستم‌های حساسی چون باتلاق‌ها و لجن‌زارها می‌انجامد و حیات وحش وابسته به آن‌ها را در معرض خطر قرار می‌دهد (Sattar et al., 2021). این تغییرات همچنین عاملی برای کاهش اندازه جمعیت و تنوع بی‌مهرگان جزر و مدی ساحلی است و می‌تواند مانع بقای گونه‌های خط ساحلی شود (Barry et al., 1995; Sattar et al., 2021). علاوه بر این، تعامل مداوم اقیانوس‌ها و اتمسفر در تبادل گرما، آب، گازها و ذرات، به گرم شدن اقیانوس‌ها منجر شده است؛ به طوری که اقیانوس‌ها بخش قابل توجهی از گرمای اضافی جو را جذب می‌کنند. این افزایش دما در سطح و اعماق اقیانوس‌ها، زیستگاه‌ها و منابع غذایی بسیاری از موجودات دریایی، از پلانکتون‌ها گرفته تا پستانداران دریایی بزرگ، را تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد و موجب تغییراتی در اکوسیستم‌های دریایی می‌شود (Fontúrbel et al., 2021). همزمان، اقیانوس‌ها دی‌اکسید کربن (CO2) را از جو جذب می‌کنند که با آب دریا واکنش داده و اسید کربنیک (H2CO3) تولید می‌کند. افزایش انتشار CO2 توسط فعالیت‌های انسانی، به جذب بیشتر این گاز توسط اقیانوس‌ها و در نتیجه، افزایش اسیدیته آن‌ها می‌انجامد. اسیدی شدن اقیانوس‌ها تأثیرات منفی شدیدی بر زندگی دریایی دارد؛ چرا که یون‌های کربنات که برای تشکیل پوسته و اسکلت موجودات دریایی مانند مرجان‌ها، خرچنگ‌ها و خارپشت‌های دریایی ضروری هستند، با یون‌های هیدروژن حاصل از اسیدی شدن واکنش داده و در دسترس این موجودات قرار نمی‌گیرند. این امر به تحلیل رفتن ساختارهای آهکی آن‌ها منجر شده و آسیب جدی به جمعیت‌های دریایی وارد می‌کند (Dursun et al., 2015). به طور کلی، تغییرات اقلیمی با افزایش دما و اسیدی شدن، تأثیرات عمیقی بر سطح و کیفیت آب‌های دریایی دارد که نه‌تنها اکوسیستم‌ها و تنوع زیستی دریایی را تهدید می‌کند، بلکه امنیت غذایی و معیشت جوامع ساحلی را نیز به مخاطره می‌اندازد. درک این پیامدها و توسعه راهکارهای مدیریت پایدار برای حفظ سلامت و پایداری اقیانوس‌ها در آینده، امری حیاتی است

واکنش گونهها به تغییرات اقلیمی

تغییرات اقلیمی، نه تنها بر گونه‌های منفرد، بلکه بر الگوهای تعامل آن‌ها با سایر موجودات و زیستگاه‌هایشان تأثیر می‌گذارد و در نتیجه، ساختار و عملکرد اکوسیستم‌ها و نیز کالاها و خدماتی را که این سیستم‌های طبیعی به جوامع بشری ارائه می‌دهند، دگرگون می‌سازد (Díaz et al., 2019). گونه‌ها در پاسخ به تغییرات اقلیمی، واکنش‌های متنوعی از جمله تغییرات در مورفولوژی و رفتار، دگرگونی در فنولوژی (زمان‌بندی رخدادهای زیستی) گونه‌ها در پاسخ به تغییرات اقلیمی، راهبردهای مختلفی را به کار می‌گیرند که از طریق تغییرات مورفولوژی، رفتار، فنولوژی (زمان‌بندی رخدادهای زیستی) و جابه‌جایی محدوده‌های جغرافیایی قابل مشاهده است. این پاسخ‌ها توسط سازوکارهای بازگشت‌پذیر و تکاملی تعدیل می‌شوند. مجموعه واکنش‌های گونه‌ها و جمعیت‌ها، به همراه تأثیرات مستقیم تغییرات اقلیمی بر اکوسیستم‌ها (از جمله افزایش شدت رویدادهای حدی)، به تغییرات گسترده‌ای در بهره‌وری، تعاملات بین گونه‌ای، آسیب‌پذیری در برابر تهاجمات بیولوژیکی و سایر ویژگی‌های نوظهور اکوسیستم‌ها منجر می‌شود. در مجموع، این تأثیرات، منافع و خدماتی را که اکوسیستم‌های طبیعی قادر به ارائه آن‌ها به جامعه هستند، دستخوش تغییر قرار می‌دهند (Weiskopf et al., 2020). یکی از راه‌هایی که موجودات زنده برای سازگاری با تغییرات محیطی اتخاذ می‌کنند، دگرگونی در رفتار یا مورفولوژی آن‌هاست. واکنش‌های رفتاری به تغییرات اقلیمی می‌تواند ناشی از تغییرات دما باشد و پیش از بروز دگرگونی‌ها در سطح جمعیت و گونه‌ها، مانند تغییرات در توزیع یا کاهش جمعیت، آشکار شود (Beever et al., 2017). تغییرات ناهمزمان در فنولوژی میان گونه‌های متقابل می‌تواند پیامدهای منفی متعددی از جمله کاهش موفقیت تولیدمثلی و یا افزایش آسیب‌پذیری در برابر شکار یا تشدید رقابت را در پی داشته باشد که در نهایت به کاهش جمعیت‌ها منجر می‌شود (Visser & Gienapp, 2019; Zimova et al., 2016; Wann et al., 2019). علاوه بر این، تغییرات فنولوژی در گونه‌هایی با مراحل زندگی متعدد، پیچیده‌تر است؛ به گونه‌ای که تغییرات سودمند برای یک مرحله از زندگی ممکن است برای مرحله دیگر زیان‌بار باشد (Campbell et al., 2019). بنابراین، واکنش گونه‌ها به تغییرات اقلیمی یک فرآیند پیچیده و چندوجهی است که نه تنها تحت تأثیر عوامل محیطی و بیولوژیکی قرار دارد، بلکه به تعاملات اکولوژیکی و تغییرات در زیستگاه‌ها نیز وابسته است. درک این واکنش‌ها برای پیش‌بینی‌های دقیق‌تر درباره آینده گونه‌ها و اکوسیستم‌ها و نیز توسعه استراتژی‌های حفاظتی مؤثر برای حفظ تنوع زیستی و سازگاری با شرایط اقلیمی جدید، ضروری است.

تاثیر تغییر اقلیم بر مکانیسمها و میزان تغییر در گونهها

واکنش ارگانیسم‌ها به تغییرات آب و هوایی می‌تواند توسط فرآیندهای ژنتیکی (تکاملی) یا غیرژنتیکی (تغییرپذیر) هدایت شود (Franks et al., 2014; Kingsolver & Buckley, 2017). این تمایز مهم است زیرا مکانیسم میزان پاسخ را تعیین میکند و این که آیا افراد، جمعیتها و گونهها قادر خواهند بود با شرایط به سرعت در حال تغییر همگام شوند (Boutin & Lane, 2014). پاسخ‌های فنوتیپی یا تغییرپذیر² در طول دوره حیات یک فرد بروز می‌کنند و تقریباً آنی هستند، در حالی که تغییرات تکاملی مستلزم گذر چندین نسل هستند (Harrisson et al., 2014; Hendry et al., 2011). با این حال، تمایز میان پاسخ‌های تغییرپذیر (از جمله تغییرات اپی‌ژنتیک) و تغییرات تکاملی همواره وضوح کامل ندارد، چرا که قابلیت یک ارگانیسم برای پاسخ‌دهی از طریق این مکانیسم‌ها می‌تواند موروثی بوده و تحت فشار انتخاب طبیعی قرار گیرد (Banta & Richards, 2018; Grenier et al., 2016). برخی از واکنش‌های سریع، منعکس‌کننده پیشینه طولانی سازگاری ژنتیکی با تنوع طبیعی اقلیمی هستند و ممکن است با فراهم آوردن امکان بقای جمعیت‌ها برای مدت زمان کافی جهت وقوع سازگاری ژنتیکی، تداوم بقا را در طول تغییرات اقلیمی جهت‌دار تسهیل نمایند (Fox et al., 2019; Snell-Rood et al., 2018). اگرچه پاسخ‌های تغییرپذیر غالباً در افزایش بقا در کوتاه‌مدت مؤثرند، برخی از آن‌ها در بلندمدت سودمند نیستند (Ghalambor et al., 2007). نکته حائز اهمیت این است که سرعت کنونی تغییرات اقلیمی اغلب از میانگین نرخ تغییرات تکاملی پیشی می‌گیرد (Meester et al., 2018).

در نتیجه، شناخت تأثیر تغییرات اقلیم بر مکانیسم‌ها و میزان تغییر در گونه‌ها به ما این امکان را می‌دهد که تغییرات اکولوژیکی را بهتر درک کنیم و به پیش‌بینی نحوه سازگاری گونه‌ها با شرایط جدید کمک کنیم. این درک نه‌تنها برای حفاظت از تنوع زیستی حیاتی است، بلکه می‌تواند به توسعه استراتژی‌های مؤثر برای مدیریت و حفظ اکوسیستم‌ها در برابر چالش‌های ناشی از تغییرات اقلیم یاری رساند.

تاثیر تغییر اقلیم بر بهرهوری اولیه

تقریباً تمام حیات روی زمین به تولیدکنندگان اولیه، ارگانیسم‌های فتوسنتزی که پایه و اساس اکثر شبکه‌های غذایی هستند، متکی است و مسئول تولید اکسیژن زمین و تنظیم اجزای مهم چرخه و جداسازی کربن هستند. تغییرات اقلیمی اثرات متفاوتی بر تولید اولیه در مقیاسهای مکانی و زمانی داشته است (Lipton et al., 2018). تغییرات در تولید اولیه احتمالاً در سطوح تغذیه‌ای بالاتر تقویت می‌شود (Chust et al., 2014; Lefort et al., 2015; Stock et al., 2014)، که منجر به تغییرات بیشتر در عملکرد اکوسیستم و تغییرات بالقوه اساسی می‌شود (Weiskopf et al., 2020). در سطح جهانی، تولید اولیه زمینی در اواخر قرن بیستم و اوایل قرن بیست و یکم شاهد افزایشی چشمگیر بوده است (Campbell et al., 2017; Domke et al., 2018). این رشد عمدتاً ناشی از عوامل متعددی از جمله اثر کوددهی دی‌اکسید کربن (CO2) جوی، افزودن مواد مغذی حاصل از فعالیت‌های انسانی، طولانی‌تر شدن فصول رشد، و بازسازی جنگل‌ها بوده است. با این حال، لازم به ذکر است که روندهای منطقه‌ای از این الگوی کلی تبعیت نکرده و تفاوت‌هایی را نشان می‌دهند. در واقع، مؤلفه‌های مختلف تغییرات آب و هوایی می‌توانند اثرات متضادی بر تولید اولیه داشته باشند. به عنوان مثال، در حالی که افزایش CO2 جوی قابلیت تحریک رشد گیاهان را دارد (Weiskopf et al., 2020)، کمبود مواد مغذی، محدودیت دسترسی به آب و آلودگی هوا می‌توانند به عنوان عوامل محدودکننده رشد عمل کنند (Norby et al., 2010).

همچنین، گرمایش جهانی و افزایش غلظت CO2 اتمسفر ممکن است بر فرآیندهای بیوژئوشیمیایی زیرزمینی، از جمله چرخه‌های کربن و نیتروژن، تأثیر بگذارند (Melillo et al., 2017) که این تغییرات به نوبه خود، بر تولید اولیه زمینی اثرگذار خواهند بود (Campbell et al., 2009). تأثیر تغییرات آب و هوایی بر بهره‌وری اولیه جنگل‌ها بسته به نوع جنگل و ارتفاع آن متغیر است. پیش‌بینی می‌شود که تولید اولیه در جنگل‌هایی که دسترسی به آب خاک در طول فصل رشد محدود است، کاهش یابد (Latta et al., 2010). در مقابل، در جنگل‌هایی که رشد آن‌ها عمدتاً توسط انرژی محدود می‌شود و برف و دمای پایین فصل رشد را محدود می‌کنند، احتمالاً تولید اولیه افزایش خواهد یافت (Latta et al., 2010; Marcinkowski et al., 2015; Wang et al., 2017). بنابراین، درک و مدیریت پیامدهای تغییر اقلیم بر بهره‌وری اولیه، نه تنها برای حفظ امنیت غذایی و منابع طبیعی حیاتی است، بلکه پیش‌شرطی اساسی برای دستیابی به توسعه پایدار و مقابله با چالش‌های جهانی آتی محسوب می‌شود. از این رو، توجه به این چالش‌ها و تدوین راهکارهای پایدار برای حفظ بهره‌وری اولیه، برای تضمین آینده‌ای پایدار و تاب‌آور ضروری است.

بحث و نتیجه گیری

علاوه بر این، پیامدهایی نظیر سیل و بیابان‌زایی به از دست رفتن زمین‌های کشاورزی و تنوع زیستی، آلودگی منابع آب و تخریب زیرساخت‌های اقتصادی منجر می‌شود که در نتیجه، دسترسی به مواد غذایی در بازارها را با اختلال مواجه خواهد ‌ساخت (Mirza, 2003). در راستای افزایش عملکرد محصولات کشاورزی و امنیت غذایی، سه استراتژی اصلی شامل تحقیق برای افزایش شاخص برداشت، افزایش توده زیستی گیاه، و بهبود تحمل به تنش‌های محیطی پیشنهاد شده است (Singh, 2018; Montoya et al., 2020). همچنین، توسعه ارقام گیاهی و نژادهای حیوانی مقاوم به خشکی، تنش گرمایی، شوری و سیل از اهمیت فزاینده‌ای برخوردار خواهد بود (Singh, 2018; Vervoort et al., 2014; Fita et al., 2015). بهره‌گیری از گیاهان و جانوران بومی و سازگار با شرایط محلی و نیز انتخاب و تکثیر ارقام زراعی مقاوم به شرایط نامساعد اقلیمی نیز می‌تواند پاسخ‌های مثبتی در پی داشته باشد (Jarvis et al., 2008). بنابراین، با استفاده مؤثر از منابع ژنتیکی و دانش بوم‌شناختی سنتی، می‌توان به مقابله با معضلات از دست رفتن تنوع زیستی و چالش‌های امنیت غذایی در سناریوهای تغییر اقلیم پرداخت. علاوه بر این، ارائه غرامت مناسب به جوامع ناامن غذایی که به حفاظت از تنوع زیستی کمک می‌کنند، می‌تواند معیشت پایدار را تضمین کند (Brussaard et al., 2010). سیستم‌های مدیریت محصول نوین که عملکرد را با افزایش کارایی کاربرد نهاده‌ها، بهبود بهره‌وری مصرف آب و کاهش انتشار گازهای گلخانه‌ای افزایش داده و هزینه‌های تولید را کاهش می‌دهند، ضروری هستند (Muluneh, 2021).

تنوع زیستی، منابع غیرقابل جایگزینی از غذا، داروهای جدید و تنوع ژنتیکی را فراهم می‌آورد که از اهمیت تکاملی برای مقاومت به آفات، حاصلخیزی خاک و گرده‌افشانی برخوردار است. بنابراین، تولید غذا به‌شدت وابسته به خدمات اکوسیستمی ناشی از تنوع زیستی است (Khan et al., 2014; Montoya et al., 2020; Power, 2010). کاهش تغییر اقلیم و سازگاری با آن از طریق رویکردهای مبتنی بر اکوسیستم، راه دیگری برای افزایش تولید مواد غذایی است که موجب ایجاد هم‌افزایی، افزایش انعطاف‌پذیری و کارایی تولید می‌شود (Muluneh, 2021). اجتناب از اختلال در عرضه مواد غذایی ناشی از تغییرات آب و هوایی، از طریق مدیریت کارآمدتر آب، می‌تواند این مشکل را کاهش دهد. علاوه بر این، مدیریت بهبود یافته زمین‌های زیر کشت، دامداری و فناوری‌های کارآمد انرژی نیز مفید واقع می‌شوند (Kraxner et al., 2003). نوآوری‌های مبتنی بر اکولوژی کشاورزی، شیوه‌های کشاورزی هوشمند اقلیمی، و تولیدات صرفه‌جو در منابع که وابستگی کشاورزان به نهاده‌های خارجی را کاهش می‌دهند و بر پتانسیل‌های موجود در گیاهان و سیستم‌های خاک تکیه می‌کنند، رویکردی نوین برای دستیابی به اهداف امنیت غذایی در قرن بیست و یکم ارائه می‌دهند (Steenwerth et al., 2014; Zougmoré et al., 2016; Uphoff, 2012). تغییر در شیوه‌های زراعی و استراتژی‌های مدیریت آب، مانند مدیریت مواد مغذی خاص سایت، کشاورزی ارگانیک، استفاده از آبیاری، کشت محصولات با تراکم مواد مغذی بالا و محصولات کوتاه‌مدت نیز از دیگر امکانات هستند (Chhogyel & Kumar, 2018). مدیریت منابع آب، احیای زمین و به‌کارگیری بیوتکنولوژی نیز به عنوان اقدامات سازگاری مؤثر برای تغییر اقلیم در نظر گرفته می‌شوند (El-Beltagy & Madkour, 2012). در نتیجه، بسته به نتایج مورد نظر، رویکردهای کاهشی می‌توانند به دنبال حفظ تداوم شرایط فعلی یا تسهیل گذار به حالت‌های جایگزین باشند (Stein et al., 2013).

تغییرات اقلیمی ناشی از فعالیت‌های انسانی و افزایش گازهای گلخانه‌ای، یک چالش و تهدید جهانی فراگیر و رو به رشد برای تنوع زیستی و اکوسیستم‌های کره زمین محسوب می‌گردد. این تغییرات، چالش‌هایی نظیر گرما، خشکی، افزایش سطح دریا، ذوب شدن یخ‌های دائمی، شور شدن، افزایش آتش‌سوزی‌ها، کاهش عملکرد کشاورزی و کاهش دسترسی به آب را برای انسان و حیات وحش ایجاد می‌کنند. با توجه به این که تنوع زیستی در هر جامعه زنده تعیین‌کننده راندمان و عملکرد ویژه آن جامعه است و از سوی دیگر، ثبات و پایداری به عنوان ظرفیت و توانایی اکوسیستم در حفظ و نگهداری خود محسوب می‌شود، بنابراین کاهش یا افزایش تنوع زیستی بر ثبات و پایداری اکوسیستم تأثیر مستقیم دارد. تحقیقات نشان می‌دهند که گونه‌های مختلف به‌طور متفاوتی به تغییرات اقلیم واکنش نشان می‌دهند. برخی گونه‌ها قادر به سازگاری و تغییر مکان هستند، در حالی که برخی دیگر در معرض خطر انقراض قرار دارند (Poloczanska et al., 2013; Radchuk et al., 2019). این وضعیت نه‌تنها به تنوع زیستی آسیب می‌زند، بلکه بر روی خدمات اکوسیستمی حیاتی که انسان‌ها و حیوانات به آن‌ها وابسته‌اند، مانند تأمین غذا، آب، تنظیم آب و هوا، و حفظ حاصلخیزی خاک نیز تأثیر منفی می‌گذارد (Board, 2005).

از این رو، نیاز به اقدامات فوری و مؤثر برای کاهش اثرات تغییرات اقلیم و حفاظت از تنوع زیستی بیش از پیش ضرورت می‌یابد. این اقدامات شامل کاهش انتشار گازهای گلخانه‌ای از طریق گذار به انرژی‌های تجدیدپذیر و افزایش بهره‌وری انرژی؛ حفاظت و احیای زیستگاه‌ها برای تقویت تاب‌آوری اکوسیستم‌ها؛ مدیریت پایدار منابع آب؛ افزایش بهره‌وری گیاهان در بخش کشاورزی؛ کاربرد ژنوتیپ‌های سازگار و مقاوم به تنش‌ها؛ و ترویج روش‌های پایدار کشاورزی و مدیریت منابع طبیعی است (IPCC, 2022). همکاری‌های بین‌المللی و ایجاد سیاست‌های حمایتی مناسب نیز از ضروریات اساسی در این راستا به شمار می‌رود. در نهایت، برای حفظ اکوسیستم‌ها و تنوع زیستی، باید به‌طور جدی به چالش‌های ناشی از تغییرات اقلیم پرداخته و راهکارهای مؤثر و مبتنی بر علم را به‌کار گیریم. با توجه به اهمیت تنوع زیستی در پایداری و سلامت اکوسیستم‌ها، هرگونه غفلت در این زمینه می‌تواند عواقب جبران‌ناپذیری به‌دنبال داشته باشد. بنابراین، تلاش در جهت حفاظت از محیط زیست و تنوع زیستی، دستیابی به یک آینده پایدار و سالم را فراهم خواهد کرد.

Extended Abstract

Introduction: Climate change is increasingly recognized as one of the most pressing environmental challenges of the 21st century, with profound and widespread consequences for ecosystems and biodiversity worldwide (IPCC, 2022). It alters fundamental ecological parameters such as temperature, precipitation patterns, and sea level, influencing species distribution, ecosystem productivity, and biogeochemical cycles. These shifts trigger cascading effects including drought, floods, forest fires, ocean acidification, and sea level rise, posing significant threats to ecosystem services, food security, and human livelihoods. Mounting evidence suggests that biodiversity and ecological stability are undergoing substantial transformations, especially in sensitive habitats such as drylands and coastal zones. The present study aims to provide a comprehensive synthesis of how climate change affects ecosystem structures, species dynamics, primary productivity, and ecological resilience, highlighting both the direct and indirect pathways of influence.

Materials and Methods: This research employed a qualitative narrative review approach, based on content analysis of scientific literature, policy reports, and empirical studies published between 2000 and 2024. Systematic data collection was conducted using academic databases including ScienceDirect, Scopus, Springer, Web of Science, Google Scholar, SID, and MagIran. Selection criteria focused on scientific credibility, direct relevance to climate-ecosystem interactions, and inclusion of analytical or applied findings. The materials were categorized thematically into six key areas: (a) direct and indirect impacts on ecosystem structure and function; (b) changes in species behavior and distribution; (c) effects of greenhouse gases and temperature rise; (d) threats to food security and agro-ecological productivity; (e) adaptation mechanisms in species; and (f) mitigation and policy strategies for ecosystem resilience. Data were analyzed using an inductive-comparative framework to extract common themes and divergent patterns across ecological and geographical contexts.

Results: The findings indicate that climate change significantly alters biodiversity patterns, ecosystem functionality, and species interactions. Alterations in rainfall regimes, increased drought, and rising sea levels have caused shifts in plant phenology, habitat suitability, and species migration routes. Dryland ecosystems, which host high biological value, are particularly vulnerable due to their reliance on seasonal rainfall. Increased atmospheric CO₂ and global warming intensify evapotranspiration, reduce soil moisture, and degrade vegetative cover. Moreover, climate-induced changes affect gene flow, phenotypic plasticity, and the evolutionary trajectory of many species. In agriculture-dependent regions, especially those reliant on rain-fed farming, food security is under substantial threat due to declining crop yields, soil degradation, and water scarcity. Climate change also impairs oceanic ecosystems through warming and acidification, jeopardizing marine biodiversity and fishery resources.

Discussion and Conclusion: Climate change directly and indirectly influences ecological processes, species survival, and food systems. As climate variability intensifies, adaptive responses among flora and fauna manifest through morphological, behavioral, and genetic changes. However, the pace of anthropogenic climate change often outstrips the capacity of many species to adapt, increasing extinction risks and undermining ecosystem stability. From a policy and management perspective, climate-resilient agriculture, ecosystem-based adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable land and water management are essential for mitigating adverse effects. Preserving ecosystem functions and promoting local adaptive capacity require integrated strategies involving traditional knowledge, genetic diversity, and international cooperation. This study underscores the urgent need for coordinated global efforts to address climate impacts on biodiversity, ecological services, and food security, which are foundational to sustainable development.
