Determining the Fitness of Knowledge Management Components in Promoting the Productivity of Distance Education

Abstract :
Due to recent significant technology development and communication knowledge that provides fundamental changes in distance education, management of knowledge components can have positive impacts on Payame Noor university education system. This study aimed at addressing and determining the fitness of knowledge management components in promoting the productivity of distance education (a case study in: Esfahan, Ilam and Alborz provinces). The research method was descriptive correlational. The sample consisted of all the employees of Payame Noor University in Esfahan, Ilam and Alborz provinces who were randomly selected consisting of 755 employees. The instruments used in the current study were questionnaires of Nonaka and Takeuchi management, Jahed organization efficiency, Robins'' organizational culture, information technology and management. The data were processed and analyzed by using SPSS software LISREL number 72/8. The obtained results revealed that there is a relationship between knowledge management component and practical and technical management. Meanwhile, there is a relationship between cultural components. Also, there is a relationship between technical and practical management and cultural organization. The data in this study are in correlation with theoretical background and this shows that the stated questions are in line with theoretical bases.
