The relationship of organizational trust and organizational silence with job satisfaction of the employees of Islamic Azad University of Isfahan (Khorasgan) branch

Abstract :
The aim of this study is to determine the relationship of organizational trust and organizational silence with job satisfaction of the employees of Islamic Azad University of Isfahan, Khorasgan branch. The study method is descriptive-correlation. The study population is the employees of Islamic Azad University of Khorasgan branch (Isfahan) as 340. 180 employees are selected by simple random method and sampling Table (krejcie & Morgan, 1970). The questionnaires of organizational trust (Ellonen et al, 2008) and organizational silence questionnaires and job satisfaction (Bouradas & Vakola 2005). For analysis of study findings, Pearson correlation coefficient, step-by-step regression and multiple-way variance analysis were used for data analysis. There was a significant relationship between organizational trust and its components with job satisfaction. Also, the relationship between organizational silence and its components with job satisfaction was inverse and significantly. The results of step-by-step regression showed that the best indicator of job satisfaction was institutional trust and lateral trust (trust among staff). The results showed that the best indicator of job satisfaction were supervisor’s attitudes to silence, Top management attitudes to silence, and communication opportunities.
