The Investigation of the Level of Guidance School Teachers in Terms of Communicative Skills in District Four of Tehran in 2012-2013

Abstract :
The present research aimed at investigating the level of guidance school teachers in terms of communicative skills. The research was a descriptive (survey) one in terms of data collection method and it was an applied one in terms of the purpose. The research population consisted of all guidance schools male and female teachers (n=774) in District 4 of Tehran in academic year of 2012-2013. The sample size consisted of 260 people according to Moran table. In order to select the research sample, stratified- random sampling method was used. Data collection tool was Queendam's communicative skills questionnaire including 34 items on Likert scale, the validity of which was confirmed by the supervisor and advisor of the study and the reliability of which appeared to be 0.82 estimated by Cronbach's alpha. In order to analyse the data, Calmogroph Smirnof, single group t and two groups t were used. The results indicated that teachers of District 4 in Tehran had favourite condition in terms of listening skill, understanding the message, vision in communication, regulation and control of emotions and strictly communicative skill. Also, there was no significant difference between male and female teachers.
