Investigating the Behavioral Problems of Employed Vs. Unemployed Mothers' Children

Abstract :
The purpose of this study to investigate the behavioral problems of employed versus unemployed mothers' children. The subjects consisted of children of all ages in preschool courses in Tehran city. Sampling was multi-stage cluster. The sample consisted of 100 children. The questionnaires related to preschool children's behavioral problems were filled out by their coaches. The analysis of the results showed that anxiety and isolation were higher among the children of working mothers than the mothers who were housewives. But the problems such as aggression and neglect were not significantly different between the two groups. Also, the maternal educational level and gender were not significantly related to children with behavioral problems
