Abstract :
In this paper, an attempt has been made to study the relationship between educational variables and educational success of Accounting students. The results have been used to identify and rank the factors. In this study, the average class score was used as a proxy for assessing achievement. For this purpose, the obtained data related to 368 classes for the two semesters in the academic year of 91-92 were collected. Then, to test the hypotheses, Pearson correlation and regression analysis of variance as well as t-tests for comparison of means depending on assumptions were used. The results of the study indicated that the variables such as the day of classes, test time, education level of teacher, type of teacher cooperation, teacher sex, teacher age and student evaluation of teacher have a significant relationship with student success. On the other hand, there is no significance relationship between academic achievement and variables such as time of classes, field of study of the teacher, first/second semester and class population.
