The Codification and Validation of the Types of Universities' Organizational Structure Questionnaire (Enabling and Hindering Structures)

Abstract :

The aim of this study was codification and validating the type of universities' organizational structure questionnaire (enabling and hindering structures). Statistical population consisted of all the academic departments of Shiraz University. By separating the departments into humanities, applied science, technology and engineering, agriculture and art sub groups, amongst five departments were selected randomly and the entire faculty filled out the questionnaires as research sample. The results showed high validity (item analysis and confirmatory factor analysis) and reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha) of each dimension of the questionnaire. So, the questionnaire and its dimensions are valid and reliable for exploring organizational structure type (enabling and hindering).
