The impact of transformational leadership on firm performance: the mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation

Abstract :
Present study is practical, descriptive survey, and quantitative which has done in our statistical population containing Tehran’s automotive part manufacturers. In present research, the direct effect of transformational leadership on organizational performance has investigated. Besides, the indirect impact of transformational leadership on organizational performance through the mediator variable of entrepreneurial orientation has studied. Our sample size is derived by stratified random sampling method and Cochran formula that 237 experts in auto part manufacturing industry has been chosen. Data analysis with structural equation modeling and AMOS and Smart PLS 2 software in two sections of measurement model and structural model has done. In first section, technical features of the questionnaire has checked and corrected. In second section, structural coefficients were applied for testing hypotheses. Research results indicate the positive and significant impact of transformational leadership on organizational performance and also the significant effect of the mediator variable entrepreneurial orientation in the relationship between these two variables.
