The Relationship between Multimedia Literacy with Professional Development of Teachers and Managers in Education District One

Abstract :
The purpose of this reaserch was the relationship between multimedia literacy with professional development of managers and teachers in an education district of Sari. This research was a field data collection method in terms of applied purpose and a descriptive correlational method in terms of implementation method. The statistical population included all managers and teachers of an education district in Sari in the academic year of 2020-2021 in the number of 650 people, which using Krejcie and Morgan table and relative stratified random sampling method of 242 people as Sample sizes were selected. Data collection tools were standard philosophical multimedia literacy questionnaires (2014), Nova Professional Development (2008) and Des Ryan (2003). (multimedia literacy equal to 0.79, professional development equal to 0.88 and percent). To analyze the data, descriptive (frequency, percentage and bar graph) and inferential sections (Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression) were used using Spss22 software. The results showed that there is a relationship between multimedia literacy with professional development of managers and teachers in an education district of Sari city. The results also showed that the components of multimedia literacy are related to the professional development and job vitality of principals and teachers.
