Abstract :
The problem of educational development in Iran has been raised by contemporary thinkers of Iran since modernity, which has continued until now. In fact, the formulation of opinions of Iranian intellectuals has gained meaning with educational development. The central question and purpose of this research is that development has manifested indicators in the opinions of late Iranian thinkers, especially in the opinions of Mustafa Malekian and Seyyed Javad Tabatabai Bache. In order to analyze this issue by using discourse analysis, it can be said that the development in the works and attitude of Malikian and Tabatabai with western modernity is meaningful from economic and anthropological dimensions. However, there is a fundamental difference between the goals of development, the way of development, the relationship between religion and development, and democracy and development with Western modernity. It should also be said that Malikian's approach to development is based on human development, spiritualism, moral living and reducing the sufferings of citizens and social democracy, while development in Tabatabai's discourse is based on social secularism, secularism, government authority, tradition as heritage and emphasis on development. Economically conceived.
