Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to identify the internal and external factors affecting the professional competence of high school graduates in Bushehr Province. The research method was applied in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of data type. The statistical population of the study consisted of educational experts and university officials. Among them, 24 people were selected through purposive sampling method and the saturation principle. In this research, semi-structured interview and library method were used to collect data. Interview with experts indicates that the interview was valid, and in order to calculate the reliability, inter-coder reliability method was used, indicating that the interview was valid and reliable. Content analysis was used to analyze the research data. The results showed that the components of individual characteristics, curriculum, management, information technology were among internal factors, and components of healthy society, media, and parenting policies were among the external factors affecting the professional competency of the educational assistants in high schools of Bushehr province.
