Meta-analysis of the relevance between quality of work life and Job Satisfaction on Iran‘s organizations

Abstract :
Quality of work life has an important impact on the job satisfaction. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a meta-analytic examination of the relationships between Quality of work life and job satisfaction. For this purpose, nine of which were acceptable in terms of methodological choice and meta-analysis was performed on them. This paper, using meta-analysis method and Comprehensive Meta-Analysis Software (CMA2), aggregated the findings of articles. Results, based on 1940 participants, indicated that Quality of work life and job satisfaction is above averageThis paper, using meta-analysis method and Comprehensive Meta-Analysis Software (CMA2), aggregated the findings of articles. Results, based on 1940 participants, indicated that Quality of work life and job satisfaction is above average (mean effect size 0/57). Among the dimensions of quality of work life, quality of work life was strongly correlated with the social cohesion (0/507), the development of human capabilities (0/495), overall living space (0/484), but the correlation of safe working environment with the job satisfaction (0/337) was less.
