Investigating the effect of knowledge management on organizational performance with emphasis on the role of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior (Case study: Pasargad Bank in Tehran)

Abstract :
The aim of this paper was to investigate the effect of knowledge management on organizational performance with emphasis on the role of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior among Pasargad Bank employees in Tehran. The research method was descriptive-survey and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population consisted of 3250 Pasargad Bank employees who were selected as a statistical sample using Morgan table and random sampling method of 353 people. The data collection tool was a 29-item questionnaire designed for 9-item knowledge management, 6-item organizational performance, 7-item job satisfaction, and 7-item organizational citizenship behavior. Content validity and structural validity were used to determine the validity of the measurement tool. Alpha Cronbach's coefficient was also used to calculate the reliability of the instrument. The results showed that the measurement tool had good validity and reliability. To test the research hypotheses, the data normality test, Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis were used using SPSS and Amos software, which showed a positive and significant relationship between knowledge management on organizational performance and also the results of the median satisfaction relationship. Job and organizational citizenship behavior also showed that organizational citizenship behavior had an effect of 84% on organizational performance.
