Identifying the cultural drivers of political development in Iran with thematic analysis method

Abstract :

Research Objective: The objective of the present study was to identify the cultural drivers of political development in Iran and to identify the dimensions and components of these cultural drivers of political development in Iran.

 

Research method: The research method was qualitative, in the form of thematic analysis.

 

Statistical population: This research, in terms of purpose, was of the developmental-applied type; in terms of data collection, it was of the descriptive type; and in terms of data certainty, it was of the exploratory type. Sampling in the present study was purposeful and continued until theoretical saturation was reached. In the written sources section, by reviewing 19 sources (from the period 2001 to 2023) and conducting 9 interviews, theoretical saturation was achieved.

 

Research method: The research was qualitative and conducted using thematic analysis.

 

Findings and research results: The results highlight the significant role of culture in Iran's political development, suggesting that it can inform future policymaking. Emphasizing cultural dimensions may enhance social and political participation, leading to positive changes within Iran's political system.
