Assessing the quality indicators in Vocational and Technical College of Agriculture in Ahwaz from Students and Educators’ perspective

Abstract :
The purpose of research was to assess the quality indicators in Vocational and Technical Agricultural College in Ahwaz from the students’ perspective and educators. This research based on objective is an applied study and the research was correlational-descriptive method. Agricultural students (450) and educators (50) in vocational and technical agricultural college in Ahwaz considered as statistical population. After designing and validating the questionnaire, the questionnaire was pre-tested among 30 people and Cronbach alpha 0.83 was determined. The main tool was a questionnaire. In this study, after the collection and classification of data, according to the type of research in two stages using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were taken. All data processing and statistical analysis was performed using the software SPSS 19. Based on these results, it was found that the attitudes of students and educators in the field of the higher education quality indicators in Vocational and Technical Agricultural College in Ahwaz, there is no significant difference. It was found that the indicators of quality in higher education in agriculture based on the views of students and educators is in a satisfactory condition. Factor analysis of items to improve the quality of the higher education agriculture showed that the most important are the emotional and attitudinal factors, the infrastructure, the educational qualification, the development of practical training, and support and credit.
