Abstract :
Since the revelation of Quran, many commentators have tried to understand the meanings of the verses to the best of their ability. The present study examines the purely theological and narrative perspective of "verse 16 of Surah Isra" with a descriptive-analytical method. According to the view of Seyyed Morteza (RA) the will to perish is not realized unless destruction of the good and the bad is realized; 2“Amarna” belongs to obedience, because if it was immoral, they should have been rewarded, not punished. The word "Amrna" has been recited in three ways. First, "Amrna Mutrafiha" can be the adjective for "village,"that is, whenever we want to destroy a village from which we have ordered the affluent class and they have disobeyed. Then the answer to "if" is deleted. Second, "Will" might have been used in a figurative sense, since in Arabic, figurative language, metaphors, and literary devices are used a lot. Third, the verse might have included submission and delay. Of course in the commentaries (Bukhari, Al-Quran Al-Azeem, Al-Dar Al-Manthur) used in the present study, it can be seen that rather than explaining the verse, they have considered only one word of the verse as having different narrations.
