Abstract :
Aim: Due to the increase in conflict between couples, researchers have focused on identifying the factors affecting couple incompatibility that lead to family breakdown. The purpose of this study was to design and validate a model of intimacy and satisfaction of incompatible couples with emphasis on Ellen Langer's theory. The research design is a descriptive survey type.Method: The variables considered for confirmatory factor analysis were: family factors and its 4 identifying items, interpersonal factors and its 10 items, individual factors and its 9 items. The statistical population of this study included experts and specialists in the field of study, i.e. counseling and psychology, who were 230 people (103 females, 127 males) who were selected using available sampling method and responded to a 23-item survey form of factors affecting couples conflict. The data of the present study were processed using SPSS and AMOS software through confirmatory factor analysis.Findings: The findings indicated that the factor loadings related to all family, interpersonal and individual components are in a very favorable condition (between 0.8 and 0.9). In other words, the correlation of the components is estimated at a high level. Conclusion: As a result, the tool for measuring these variables has factor validity.
