Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of primary maladaptive schemas, stress coping strategies, and marital quality on the anxiety of pregnant women through in vitro fertilization. The current research is of a descriptive type and research data collection was done by available sampling method, 300 people were selected among pregnant women by in vitro fertilization method in Qom city. In order to obtain the desired data, pregnancy anxiety questionnaires, incompatible schemas, coping strategies and quality of married life were distributed among them. The obtained data were analyzed by SPSS software and Pearson correlation tests and multivariate regression. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between initial maladaptive schemas (r=0.512, p<0.01) and emotion-oriented coping strategies (r=0.358, p<0.01) with pregnancy anxiety. There is a negative and significant relationship between problem-oriented coping strategies (r=0.460, p<0.01) and quality of married life (r=0.878, p<0.01) with pregnancy anxiety. Also, primary maladaptive schemas (sig=0.001 and β=0.118), problem-oriented strategies for coping with stress (sig=0.021 and β=0.205), emotion-oriented strategies for coping with stress (0.001) sig=0 and β=0.187) and quality of married life (sig=0.001 and β=0.823) can predict pregnancy anxiety. Based on the results, it can be said that the anxiety of pregnant women with artificial insemination is predicted based on the initial maladaptive schemas, coping strategies and the quality of married life.
