Abstract :
Considering the importance of preserving the environment of tourist villages, the present study aimed to investigate the role of tourism development in promoting environmental knowledge in the villages of the Qhale Chaei touristic road in Ajbashir. This research is developmental in terms of its purpose, descriptive, causal and analytical in nature. The statistical population of the study included the residents of nine villages along the mentioned road. Using a simple random sampling method, 370 people were selected based on Cochran formula. The factual validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by some experts. Using the Cronbach Alpha Special Formula, the reliability of the research questionnaire was 0.887. For data analysis, Pearson correlation test and multivariate regression test as well as path analysis using PLS software were used. For the prioritization of villages Topsis, Vicore, ANP and Kaplend models were used. The results of the research showed that there was a significant relationship between all the variables which were ecological balance protection of the village, vegetation and animal protection, drought control, noise pollution, water and soil conservation, use of organic farming, and reduction of fuel use. Also it was shown that there was a significant relationship between fossil fuels, the principle of garbage disposal, not using the unrecyclable garbage, the management of biological crisis and the restoration or renewal of damaged environment. Also, based on the results of multi-attribute models, it can be said that Tapic Darreh village has the highest priority and the village of Qozelga has the least priority in terms of environmental knowledge of villagers. Finally, according to the results of the research some recommendations for future studies were suggested.
