The main objective of this study was to provide a model for evaluating the competitive advantage of tourist destinations based on decision-making techniques. To do so, first the competitive advantage criteria were identified for fourteen tourist destinations using the literature and interviews with experts. In the second step of the study, the researchers used LFPP to calculate the relative importance of planning preferences. In the third step researchers ranked tourist destinations using fuzzy COPRAS. The results of this study showed that the north of the country, including the provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran and Golestan, was recognized as the best tourism destination as far as the competitive advantages were considered.
