Abstract :

The stories of prophets have long been regarded as one of the concepts of literature and were welcomed by poets. Jesus is one of the most important religious figures to whomabundant fantastic poetic concepts in literature have been devoted.The story of Christ's life and his crucifixionare among the issues that the vanguard poets in Persian and Arabic literature and poetry considered from different angles; and,using the technical and artistic tools and space,they paid attention to this the issue.This story has completely been pristine, recreated and analyzed byAhmad Shamloo and BadrShakir al-Sayyab, as the pioneers and vanguard of contemporary poetry. This study is an attempt at comparative analysis of two poems, "Crucified Man" byShamloo and Sayyab’s"Christ after Crucifixion" in order to achieve the perspective of these two poets to the problems of society, beyond the veil of Christ on his face .Narrative of Christ’s monologues in both poetries is thevoices of inner rational, social and committed dialoguethat self-sacrifice himselffor the commitments and ideals to spread the gist of his message to other humans.
