Phenomenological analysis of employees' lived experience of barriers to voluntary dissemination of acquired skills and experiences (case of study: small and medium companies of Ilam)

Abstract :
Today, knowledge is one of the most important organizational assets. Therefore, knowledge management is very important for organizations, because it manages other assets of an organization, therefore addressing this issue plays a vital role in the success of organizations. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the barriers to knowledge sharing in Ilam Province Industrial Estates Company. The research is from the point of view of applied goal and qualitative-quantitative type of research. Phenomenological method was used in qualitative research and factor analysis in quantitative research. The statistical population of the research is the employees of the industrial estates company of Ilam province. The required data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 16 employees who were selected as a purposive sampling. The obtained results show that the barriers to knowledge sharing include personal, organizational, technological and cultural barriers, which sub-components such as filtering, internet speed, social networks and competitive advantage can be introduced as new achievements in comparison with previous studies.
