The effect of talent management and succession planning on prevention of corruption (Case Study: Judiciary of West Azerbaijan Province)

Abstract :
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of talent management and succession planning on the prevention of corruption in the judiciary. The present study was descriptive-correlational in terms of applied purpose and in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of the present study was the staff of the judiciary of West Azerbaijan province in 2021, whose number was 470 people. The sample size in the survey method based on Cochran's formula is 212 people and using the stratified random sampling method, sample people were selected. Data collection tool was a standard questionnaire. In order to check the validity of the questionnaires, face (apparent) validity was used. Cronbach's alpha was also cited for reliability. The results of the reliability study for all dimensions were reported to be greater than 0.7; So that the reliability value for the talent management variable was equal to 0.901, the successor variable was equal to 0.895 and the corruption variable was equal to 0.862. Considering that in the correlation test of the main hypotheses, the values of Pearson correlation coefficient were 0.62 and 0.76 and the significance level was 0.01, respectively, it can be stated with 95% confidence that between talent management and successor Cultivation affects corruption in the judiciary of West Azerbaijan province. The results of testing the research hypotheses using linear regression showed that talent management and succession planning have a positive and significant effect on preventing corruption in the courts of West Azerbaijan province.
