The role of will in education and its empowering methods in Shahid Motahari thought

Abstract :
Introduction and purpose: One of the most important building blocks of any educational school is the presentation of the will and its role in education. Since the beginning of Islam, this issue has been a source of conflict between different schools of thought, according to some verses of the Holy Quran. On the other hand, if the will plays an effective and useful role in education, the methods of strengthening it will also be desirable. This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of will in education and its education methods in the thought of Martyr Motahari.
Research methodology: In this research, a qualitative analytical method has been used. The field of research is all the authentic written and digital sources related to the thought of Martyr Morteza Motahari and no sampling was done. The data collection tool was phishing. Data analysis was done through open coding and categorized based on research questions.
Findings: The findings indicate that in the thought of Shahid Motahari, the will can be considered from three aspects: the possibility of education, the factor of education, and the goal of education. Will training methods include two negative and positive parts, which according to the considerations of the positive method, this method includes two recommended and non-recommended sub-branches.
Conclusion: The relationship between will and education has different aspects. Just as the will is an essential element in education, different educational methods and interventions can also help to strengthen it so that a positive reinforcement cycle is formed between the two.
