Abstract :
The aim of the present study was to investigate the requirements and contexts for the application of artificial intelligence in physical education for students with movement disorders. For this purpose, a qualitative approach and thematic analysis method were used. The participants in the study were instructors and administrators of students with movement disorders who were selected based on purposive sampling based on work experience and field of expertise. Research data were collected using semi-structured individual interviews. The data were analyzed using the coding method. The research findings indicate four general axes, including educational requirements (empowering teachers and trainers in the field of artificial intelligence-based education, modifying and compiling the educational content of physical education lessons in the field of artificial intelligence, policy-making and educational support for artificial intelligence-based physical education); Technical and technological platforms (hardware infrastructures in physical education for students with motor disorders, software infrastructures in physical education for students with motor disorders, data and information management systems in physical education for students with motor disorders); research and knowledge development requirements (development of interdisciplinary research in the field of physical education, changing methods of evaluating student performance, supporting and empowering researchers in the field of new technologies and their application); socio-cultural platforms (building a culture in the field of artificial intelligence, strengthening the role of family and society in accepting artificial intelligence, paying attention to the role of the government and making favorable policies in the field of artificial intelligence-based education) were mentioned.
