Abstract :

The aim of this paper is to study the impact of technological progress and efficiency changes on the productivity growth of Iran agriculture sector by separated provinces.So, by using Data Envelopment Analysis and Malmquist model, the impacts of technological and efficiency changes during 2005-2014 have been investigated. The results show that efficiency changes on the productivity growth has dominant role and technological changes share is less. The findings, also, showed that the impact of labor changes has a positive impact on productivity growth while capital changes have a negligible impact on the factors of production productivity.
