Visual adaptations of Manouchehr Atashi's poem from classical images based on Genet's theory of transtextuality

Abstract :
Imitation and inspiration from the literary works of the past is effective in the formation of new and creative works. Examining the impact of texts on each other is studied under the title of transtextuality. This theory emphasizes that a literary work can only be defined and understood in relation to other literary works; The writer or poet is influenced by the thoughts of many works before him or his contemporaries and these thoughts play a role in the creation of his work. Transtextuality refers to the structure of the narrative and the relationships governing it and shows the influence and presence of one text in another text. Before Genet, people like Kristeva also thought about the relationships between texts, but their view was only on the intertextual relationships between the texts and from sections such as prefaces, introductions, typefaces, interviews after The distribution of texts and even ideas that were in one work and also existed in the second work have been unaware that Genet solved this defect in his theory of transtextuality. In this essay, an attempt is made to examine the "visual adaptations of Manouchehr Atashi's poem from classical images based on Genet's theory of transtextuality". This research is based on a descriptive-analytical and comparative method with a metatextual method and a hypertextual approach. In summarizing the results of this research, it seems that there are very few cases where Atashi used the image of ancient poets.
