Abstract :

Loanwords can be studied through comparative historical semantics and in this way we can understand how they have been borrowed from other languages and what changes have they undergone. One of the iranian loanwords irl European languages which has a wonderful story is the word "Ganj" (treasure). This article presents the story of this word.
