Abstract :

The present article tries to have a comparative study on love (concept) in some Sohrab Sepehri – Iranian contemporary poet - and Annette von Droste-Hülshoff - 19th century poet – poetries. What makes this article attractive is that both poets were influenced by Holy Books (Quran and Bible), application of metaphors and similes by inspiring from nature, following the similar poetic patterns and … in spite of different times and places and nevertheless the cultural differences and the same age – 51year old.
