Abstract :
As it is known, the story of Leily and Majnoon is the tragic love story of Gheis Ameri toward a girl of his own tribe named Leily. This story originally transmitted from Arabic into Persian language and literature and Nezami received it from the Arabic sources and poetized it. Shakespeare’s story is also about the tragic love of Romeo and Juliet who lived in a city called Verona and they were of two prominent families who have been fallen in a fight with each other for an old grudge. Shakespeare also borrowed this story from Italian literature, and both stories revolve around love.
