In the next step, using qualitative method and content analysis, revenge based on characters, themes, and plots in terms of the theory of Will Wright's variety of revenge is examined, and finally, the similarities and differences between the two works are examined comparatively with regard to Western and Eastern cultures. The result of these analysis shows that the characters of the two works are adaptable in terms of the concept of revenge in the literature; but they are not very adaptable in two different cultures, because in the Iranian-Islamic culture, the emphasis on forgiveness is very prominent and deep-rooted.
