Abstract This passage has been written regarding the principles and the basis of the discourse theory extended by Ernesto Laclau. The essence of this theory is that the historical and social subjects are political. This essay differentiates between the antique and anthology level and has studied Shamloo's works in anthology books. Based on this, Shamloo's works on the freedom discourse implies that political and social movement during the recent century have been considered as the aim and the identity of political movements in Iran. The strategy and method of this research is that some of the basic concepts, are explored in Shamloo's works and then his central concepts of ideas about liberty are chosen in this paper . Shamloo, in this essay, is called the poet of freedom. It is believed that most of the phenomena in society and literature are political and the content must be internally seen and evaluated.
