The Evolution of the Epic in Contemporary Persian Poetry ( from Nima to our time )

Abstract :
Abstract Epic is one of the most important, valuable and influential literary types in the literature of nations, that does not belong to a certain ancient era; it also can be seen in the poems of contemporary poets. Therefore, it faces many changes and has a direct relationship with political and social events. The epic teller poet in contemporary era is in the context of political and social events of his time and tries to compose the epic of his own time. He tries to turn, his own struggles against the tyranny which he has witnessed, into the epic. Therefore, the present research is presented in response to this question that how is the movement of epic in the literary literature of the contemporary period, from the time of Nima to the present time has been reviewed and analyzed in terms of content in the poetry of ten poets from Nima up to now as the most prominent representatives of Semitic poetry. This article has been conducted through descriptive-analytical method based on content analysis approach. The results show that the epic movement parallel with the political, historical and social changes undergoes some other changes.
