Abstract :
Today, competition between companies has given way to competition between supply chains, in other words, networks of companies responsible for converting raw materials into finished products and delivering them to customers. This network of entities is responsible for various supply, production, and distribution processes, which are known as a supply chain. Supply chain entities can be located in different geographical locations and deliver high-quality final products to customers who are scattered in different places on time and at the lowest cost. The aim of this article is to analyze the role of social capital on supply chain resilience in the steel industry. For this purpose, it was investigated using factor analysis and structural equations techniques in the period of 1404. The statistical population of this study included steel industry experts, who numbered 340 people, and the sample size was determined as 181 people using the Morgan table. As the results of data analysis using structural equation modeling showed, the significant number between the social capital factor and supply chain resilience is 5.07, so the social capital factor has a positive and significant effect on supply chain resilience. Also, the standard estimation coefficient obtained for this number is 0.57, so it is clear that the effect of the social capital factor on supply chain resilience is high. Therefore, a change in the social capital factor causes a change in supply chain resilience. Based on the results, it is suggested that in the steel industry, focus should be on the overall configuration of network relationships, which forms an important aspect of social capital and can affect the development of supply chain resilience.
