Abstract :
Optimizing of reactor networks (RNs) often cause to nonlinear problems that solving them for approaching to the optimum structure of RNs is so hard and sometimes is unsolvable. In this article, a compilation of genetic algorithm and quasi liner programming method for optimizing isothermal reactor networks has been used. The structure for RN was a tubular reactor which has several incoming side flow. To avoid the presence of differential equations due to PFR type, this reactor has been simulated by series of CSTRs reactors. The number of reactors, and side flows incoming to it are variable. This type of reactor systems will be more applicable when is wanted some materials gradually are entered the reactor. The case studies showed that this method can reach the same optimum solutions.
