Abstract :

Today, the goal of protecting the environment is to achieve sustainable development in the form of economic programs in harmony with the principles of environmental protection and preventing the destruction and depletion of renewable and non-renewable resources. Green management is the effective and efficient use of all resources to guide the organization to achieve environmental goals with the aim of creating social acceptance and preserving the environment. The current research was conducted with the aim of investigating the condition of sports facilities in terms of dimensions and components of green management. The current research was quantitative in terms of methodology, applied in terms of purpose, and descriptive in terms of data collection. 220 people were selected as a sample from the statistical population that included experts in the field of sports management familiar with the research topic and experts in the field of environment. Green management questionnaire was used to collect data. Data were analyzed using binomial ratio test in SPSS software. The results showed that the current situation of sports facilities and facilities in terms of applying green management in Iran is in an unfavorable situation. The improvement of the environment will be achieved when the natural environment and human culture are related. The necessity of realizing such a goal is the existence of environmental ethics and culture in all strata of a society.
