Electric motors are controlled according to different aspects depending on the specific applications they have in different systems. Start-up, speed control, position control and braking are the control aspects of an electric motor, for which a control method is considered depending on the intended application. A three-phase induction motor is essentially a constant speed motor. However, due to changes the mechanical load, changes in rotor rotation speed are inevitable. Therefore, it is somewhat difficult to control its speed. Induction motor speed control is accomplished at the cost of reduced efficiency and low power factor. In this paper, all methods of speed control of induction motors are examined in detail. By examining conventional methods, their advantages and disadvantages are reviewed. Manuscript profile

In this paper, energy management in a Micro-grid connected to the distribution network has been done with the aim of reducing the cost of operating the Micro-grids and reducing the environmental pollution index. The Genetic Algorithm method is used to optimize the objective function and find Pareto solutions. The Information Gap Decision-making Method has been used to select the appropriate answers from Pareto's set of answers. In the meanwhile, the participation rate of each of the distributed generator sources and the charge and discharge planning of the energy storage system to provide the Micro-grids load has been calculated. In addition, the interaction between the Micro-grids and the distribution network is important. To analyze the proposed method, a planning problem using multi-priced electricity tariffs is presented as an advantage of the energy storage system. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the multivariate optimization method presented in this thesis, modeling and simulation of diesel generators and energy storage in a Micro-grid have been performed. Mathematical models based on probability density functions, renewable energy sources and consumer load have been investigated. Minimizing the cost of fuel to generate power in the Micro-grids, uncertainty related to renewable sources and Micro-grids load consumption has been modeled using the Information Gap Decision-making Method of maximum uncertainty radius for renewable units and load consumption. The results of the Information Gap Decision Method are compared with conventional methods based on probabilistic function analysis such as the scenario tree method. The results presented in this dissertation show the advantages of the proposed method to improve the overall performance of independent and connected Micro-grids to the distribution network. Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) are built based on the increasing needs of various industries, which are considered the main and important components of the controller in automation projects. In the past, before the invention of PLC, a combination of electromechanical relays and pneumatic systems were used in automation control projects. The smallest change in the command circuit requires changing the hardware, high energy consumption, lack of programmable logic, etc., which has led to the use of PLC for the automation work of various industries. Because changing its command circuit is possible with minimal hardware changes and only by adding or subtracting a few lines on the letter. In this thesis, the programming process of multi-floor warehouse control of products is done automatically by a PLC-based crane. The advantage of this work is to significantly reduce energy consumption, increase the productivity of industrial units, increase the security of human resources, etc. So the question is here? How to implement the ready project of this paper in the real industrial workshop? This is a major problem that may arise in all PLC projects. To solve this problem, we have used the possibility of communicating the combination of two PLC software programs STEP7-300 and Factory io software in the multi-storey warehouse control project of products automatically by a PLC-based crane. In this situation, it is possible to create a 3D graphic industrial environment. The advantage of this work is not needing a real industrial workshop, better understanding and image of the industrial workshop, better attention to the role of PLC in the switchboard and production line, etc. Another important result of this paper is reducing the cost and time of the project.
