    Despite the proven advantages of using renewable energy sources, the use of fossil fuels as the main source of energy supply in industries continues, and changing technology to fully depend on renewable energy sources requires large investments. Therefore, currently, the only practical approach is to optimize existing energy production and conversion systems. Among various technologies, the use of fuel cell technology in energy conversion and electricity production is very promising due to less pollution, higher efficiency and unique features. New thermodynamic systems based on hybrid cycles of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and heat engines (HE) will play an important role in the direction of future research in the field of production, control and optimization of energy consumption by using new and clean energies; Therefore, this article examines the performance of SOFC-IC hybrid systems as the driving forces of HEV hybrid cars, in contrast to traditional IC internal combustion engines, and its optimization as an intermediate generation for the transition from traditional engines to electric engines in the automotive industry.
