Abstract :
Present study was performed to analyze the effect of 6 weeks training and 3 weeks detraining on aerobic power of futsal referees in Sari town. Study method was quasi-experimental by pre and post-test design with experimental and control groups. Statistical population were consisted of all futsal referees (30 referees) of Sari in year 2014 who were selected using purposeful and available method and 20 referees among volunteers were assigned and randomly were divided into experimental (10 referees) and control (10 referees) groups. In experimental group the mean age, weight and height were 28.30±2.31 years old, 85.20±3.12 kg, and 182.60± 3.20 cm, respectively. In control group they were 28.70±1.49 years old, 86.80±1.55 kg, and 183.60± 2.63 cm, respectively. Covariance analysis test showed that 6 weeks training increases aerobic power (maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) and 3 weeks detraining decreases aerobic power. According to the results of this research, it is suggested to the referees of the country that in addition to raising their level of awareness regarding the refereeing profession, they should also pay attention to their fitness and physical fitness.
