Examining the role and performance of the military organization of the Tudeh party in the August 28 coup

Abstract :
The military organization of the Tudeh party was formed in early 1323 by Abdul Samad Kambakhsh, Khosro Rouzbeh and Ezzatullah Siamak. Examining the performance of the military organization shows that this organization obeyed the orders of the Tudeh party and acted in line with the policies and interests of the Soviet Union. The military organization of the Tudeh party played a role in the developments of the Pahlavi II era and in the uprising of Khorasan officers, the Azerbaijan Democratic Sect and in the developments of the oil industry nationalization period, but this organization did not intervene in the August 28 coup, they were completely passive and did not take any action. The problem of the current research is why the military organization of the Tudeh party was passive and did not take any action in the coup of August 28, considering its power and capacity? The hypothesis of the current research is that the military organization of the Tudeh party, which was subordinate and obedient to the orders of the party and acted in line with Soviet policies, did not receive an order to intervene in the coup on the day of the 28th of August. The research method in this article is the historical (inductive) method and the way of writing and compiling it is descriptive and analytical.
