Abstract :
The cornerstone of the jurisprudential approach of Imam Khomeini in economy is monotheism. The Islamic material spiritual school considers the economy not a goal but a means for the human perfection as it outlies constructive plans for the benefit of all Muslims including the rich and the poor in the community. This research aimed to examine the jurisprudence of Islamic economy with an approach to the economic views of Imam Khomeini (s). The methodology was descriptive and meta analytica. Research findings imply that three major thinking approaches were found when analyzing the contemporary scholars’ views. The first approach, which is jurisprudence-oriented, makes use of clear jurisprudential reasoning and inference. The second approach seeks to recognize the Islamic economy as an Islamic economic school. The third approach considers the Islamic economy as a collection of scientific views aiming to scientifically analyze economic relations in an Islamic community, which can adapt to the economics as a body of knowledge. The analysis of theories with the focus of Imam Khomeini's (pbuh) opinions, influenced by the crises of his time, shows that Islamic economics is an economic school, not just economics; Economy is not a goal, but a means to achieve higher goals; The Islamic economy is a spiritual economy and the military economic system is considered to be an order; The most important thing is that the realization of the economic system of Islam reaches the necessary perfection and depth when Islam is implemented in all dimensions of people's lives.
