Abstract :
The current study is done with the purpose of studing the effectiveness behavioral-cognitive intervention training in decreasing the teenagers’s test anxiety. The present study was a qasi-experimental method with pre-test/post test with a controled group. Statistical population included first grade high school students of Kangavar city who were studying in the educational year 92-93. sample of this study was composed of 30 students who were selected with multi-stage random sampling method, and were placed in two experimental groups and control groups(each consisted of 15 persons). The current research method was a semi-experimental with a design of pre-test and post- test with a controled group. Then,pre-test (Spilberger test anxiety inventory ) was done for both two groups. The experiment group was received eight 60 minutes training sessions with the group method and behavioral-cognitive intervention once a week and the control group was still waiting. Finally, this aforementioned post-tests were performed on both two groups. The data using descriptive statistical and multi-variate analysis of covariance, were analyzed. The results of the analyzing the findings by using multi-variate analysis of covariance showed that the behavioral-cognitive intervention training could have a desirable effect in efficacy and improvement of learners with decreasing the test anxiety.
