Relationship of Perfectionism, Assertiveness and Adjustment of Female Students of Isfahan University (2012-2013)

Abstract :
The present research investigates the relationship between perfectionism, assertiveness and adjustment. Sample of Study is including 365 individuals of students of Isfahan University for the academic year of 2012 who were selected through a simple random method. Measured variables (perfectionism, assertiveness, and compatibility) by Hill Perfectionism questionnaire, shun, herzbergr and kets assertiveness questionnaire and Bell Adjustment questionnaire. Data were analyzed by statistical indexes like Pearson's correlation coefficient, analysis of regression, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and independent T-test. Results showed that perfectionism and assertiveness predict Adjustment of students and scores of assertiveness has the greatest effect on scores of adjustment. There is a significant relationship between perfectionism and assertiveness the students. There is, also, a Significant relationship between perfectionism and of adjustment and there is, also, a Significant relationship between assertiveness and adjustment. Three variables of perfectionism, assertiveness and adjustment is not the same among students of different faculties. The results of consider relations between perfectionism, assertiveness and adjustment, with age, show than there is not significant relationship between perfectionism and adjustment with age but there is a positive correlation and significantly between assertiveness and age. About of the Relationships between these three variables with marital, also, the results indicate that scores of perfectionism, assertiveness, and adjustment for married students as compared with single students is far more than grades.
