Studying the impact of high performance work systems on job satisfaction with focus on mediating role of work engagement

Abstract :
This research has been done with the aim of studying the impact of high performance work systems ( HPWS ) on job satisfaction ( JS ) and work engagement ( WE ) . Data collected from ( 221 ) employees of Qazvin medical university via questionnaire Correlating analysis and methods through ( SPSS ) and ( LISRELL ) software showed that there are positive significant relationship between High performance work systems ( HPWS ) dimensions ( training , empowerment , reward ) and also between high performance work system ( HPWS ) and job satisfaction ( JS ) and work engagement ( WE ). Testing hypothesis using structural equation modeling show between high performance work systems ( HPWS ) has a positive impact on job satisfaction ( JS )directly and it has a positive impact on job satisfaction ( JS ) the way work engagement ( WE ) indirectly . Finally, there are suggestions for improve the organization .
