Abstract :

Always different cities throughout history, has undergone many changes have been and many events had an impact on the change of name. Exclusivity  one of the majority ancient cities, The decline and rise of the cities history and sometimes changes in the context of the city and range and is also the name comes to them. Less urban in history past is thousands of years old And at all times remains in one place. Sually the name of the city in the past by other nations and territories, The name of the tribe or geographic features of the area was known. This is one of the geographical areas Tabarestan The resources with different names and different geographical area come. Although many books including, Date Mazandaran ancient god of Mohammed bin Esfandiar Refuge Complex Yazdanpanah Lmvky  and focused on the topic Tabarestan, but in none of these resources specifically to the origin Tapurian Tabarestan not mentioned until the satrap. Also, while In the history of ancient Iran or the Caspian there is no source Tabarestan name And the only resource the first name mentioned Tabarestan, In the Sassanid era and is based on a tenser. This study is trying to historical analytical method based on ancient texts Tabaristan historical appellation, Tapurian Tribe formed the satrap and geographic position to pay the Sassanid era
