Abstract :
The present research studies the relationship between the identity( information, norm,confusion / evading) and self-responsibility styles among the students of Tehran university. 380 boy and girl students of Tarbiat moallem, Tehran, Allameh Tabatabaee, Shahid Beheshti and Elm o sanat universities were selected through the random staging cluster Sampling method. For collecting the necessary information, the identity questionair(Berzonski) and GAF self-responsibility questionair(SCI-R ) have been used. For analyzing the results, two methods of descriptive ( frequency,average,standard deviation) and deductive(T test, variation and regration analysis) statistics were used. The results show that: 1) There is a positive, meaningful coherent relationship between the informational identity method and self-responsibility. 2) There is a positive, meaningful coherent relationship between the normal identity method and self-responsibility. 3) There is a negative, meaningful coherent relationship between confusion/evading method and self-responsibility. 4) There is no meaningful coherent relationship between the identity ( information,norm, confusion/evading) methods and sex .
