Abstract :
Abstract:The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of the intergenerational culture of the organization on the employee engagement and to determine the mediating role of the organizational integration of Shiraz University. The research method was descriptive correlation type. The statistical population of the research included all employees of Shiraz University (700 people) who were selected Based on Morgan table using random sampling method. 248 people were considered as a sample, and finally 211 questionnaires were answered completely and were considered as a sample. The tools of this research included scales of intergenerational culture (King and Bryant, 2017), organizational engagement (Schaufeli et al., 2006) and organizational integration (Nieves and Haller, 2014), which after calculating their validity and reliability, Distribution between the sample and data were analyzed using structural equation model. The findings showed that the growth of intergenerational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational integration. In addition, intergenerational culture has a positive and significant effect on the growth of employee engagement. Also, organizational integration has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement.
