Abstract :
The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the effective factors of strategic agility based on business sustainability in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic for sports businesses. This research is an exploratory study in terms of its objective, in which after reviewing the theoretical literature, a qualitative study was conducted using a systematic theoretical framework. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect information, and data analysis was performed using the Strauss and Corbin method and the paradigm model. The statistical population of the study included individuals with management experience at various levels of the country's sports, economists familiar with sports issues, sports management professors at universities, doctoral students in marketing and sports management, and experts and stakeholders in the sports economy. Fifteen people were selected for interviews using non-probability sampling and targeted theoretical and snowball sampling techniques. Open, axial, and selective coding were used for data analysis. The findings showed 142 primary conceptual propositions with 10 concepts and 6 dimensions of the paradigm model, including causal conditions (2 concepts), the main phenomenon (factors affecting strategic agility), strategy (3 concepts), contextual features (2 concepts), intervention conditions (3 concepts), and outcome (2 concepts). As a result, developing solutions based on these factors can help strengthen the stability and more successful performance of these businesses in the conditions of the Corona pandemic.
